If you're thinking S9, think again...

Yeah I saw it, I heard the unnecessary jabs, I saw the unnecessary over-explanations of the new features. I highly recommend people to listen to my latest podcast episode 30 on iTunes and SoundCloud  for more on thoughts of Mobile World Congress (MWC2018) and some phones that I thought were important to take a minute and talk about. The smartphone world has been getting populated more and more by different brands, different form factors, innovations and most of all: options for consumers and I have always recommended the Apple iOS and iPhone ecosystem. However, I know this is not the only great option out there in the market. As the years went on and people said that Samsung was the "greatest competitor" Apple had... I have tried out the Note line, the Galaxy S line, the Galaxy J line, the Galaxy A line; not all the models but at least the top from each to give myself a sense of the idea behind their phones compared to the rest of options in the android market. So many ...

The One MCU Ranking To Rule Them All

Image
I am about to enter the Black Panther premier with my cousins and I am too excited! Yeah I said it, TOO excited, I wish I would have held back from the hype because of the fact that this means I expect too much out of this movie. So to get my head off of that for a little bit before going in I will give you guys my PERSONAL top 5 favorite MCU movies: 5. Lets start off by pissing off a lot of people. I know this is not a very popular opinion out there but I did really like Avengers: Age of Ultron . Me being someone who enjoyed the EVENT that the first Avengers movie created, thought this sequel ups that original in testing how to make the team up different. I enjoyed the idea of teasing Wakanda, prepping the audience for the Black Panther introduction to come in Civil War and the importance of vibranium in this universe. Added, I loved Ultron, the voice over was great and the identity he had (even if I understand he's not the best villain).  I knew nothing of Ultron until this ...

What Passion Looks Like: The World Cup Rant

Image
This year is one of THOSE years. Yeah, the World Cup will happen in Russia and I wanted to share 2 great scenes of the life movie that football has given me. To every single football fan there are WAY more than just 2 memories, moments, life memories that scar and brand our lives. And if there is One thing I enjoy more than telling stories I have lived through, it's listening to other people's stories! 1998 - France I had the great opportunity to be in France that year in the month that the world cup was playing. I remember driving long and beautiful landscape-filled-hours from Denmark all the way to the south of France to a small town called Bagnols-en-Foret. This peaceful place was where we slept and ate at night while in the days that we were there we went to the beautiful beaches of Frejus and Saint Raphael. France qualified to the final game against Brazil. The once small and peaceful town I knew (it was not our first time going to southern France for the summer...

The Biggest Concert In The World

Image
When I was a kid I was a little hyperactive (some could say still am). That meant my mom had to find ways to focus my energy. The easy way was exercise: swimming lessons, soccer team, etc. However, one day she discovered the secret: music. Specifically orchestral music, with loud and clear percussion. An example is Hans Zimmer , one of my favorite music composers today. I remember telling my grandma when I decided to leave music as my main career that "once you are born a musician, you die a musician". I remember her smile when I said that, I remember my grandfather taking me to and picking me up from music lessons and both going to see me at small concerts in local churches. I remember playing in front of large audiences later in life and always imagining them there in the front row smiling. Most people who knew me back then ask me a really funny question which I answer in different ways each time: "so, when are you going to go back to music?". The truth i...

O Captain! My Captain!

Image
We all have a story, when you were born your parents hoped with all their hearts that you would never endure hardships or suffer in any shape or form... Fortunately the world does not work like that. I believe its the hardships and mistakes in life that teach and mold you to become who you are and become so much more than your parents ever thought you would be. Think about the closest 3 people in your life, then think about the closest 5, maybe even if you are a very social person think about the closest 7. How much do you know about their life? Their accomplishments, their secrets, their mistakes... It does not matter if they are your children, wife, husband, best friend, cousin, etc. you live in a bubble about them. It is one of the most humbling experiences in life to GET TO KNOW someone's hardships. Some people have lives through poverty, hunger, pain, sickness... Some people are so poor all they have is money... Some people dream of having half of what you do. Some, hid...

Side Effects of the iPhone X

Image
Yeah, that's me going all kinds of crazy in happiness and hype when I FINALLY got the iPhone X! That day was awesome! And as the weeks go by and my hype goes down and my happiness keeps to rise I wanted to let you guys know how my Apple-Life has changed for better and worse thanks to this revolutionary device. I got the phone and set it up with NO WIRES NEEDED! I had never tried that amazing iOS capability of having my iPhone 7 filled with my life. I have mentioned this before, but my iPhone is my life's remote control. Just in case I back up everything in my life to have access through my iPhone, documents from work, important stuff for work, podcast and blog ideas, shopping lists, reminders, you name it, it is on my phone somewhere. So taking all that into account the fact that my iPhone 7 just asked me if I wanted to set up my new iPhone OVER THE AIR almost brought me to tears! (dramatic much? I don't think so) Yesterday I had my final exam of one of the univer...

We Have No Clue...

Image
I love technology. Anyone who knows me and/or has read my blog for long enough knows that. And because of what living in today's world entails, I believe this is the best time to be alive. Access to knowledge at the palm of your hands, opportunities like never before to reach people all over the world, to create content of all kinds and for all audiences almost at no cost at all... BUT I am here to tell you WE HAVE NO CLUE... Because we can see and investigate thousands of sources we think we know, because we can see, listen, read and have access to things we think we know "all I need to know about ____". People think they know what living in China is like because they read articles, see vlogs on youtube about someone's life in China. What writing for a newspaper is like because they have blog, or producing a radio show is like because they have a podcast... Or maybe... MAYBE they even have the great chance to know not from third-hand sources, but fro...
