Catch Me If You Can: the iPhone

Buying a new Apple product is an experience that every Apple lover will explain in different ways but with one thing in common: adrenaline and love all at the same time. Then booting the product up is all about awe. And even though many will criticise me about this: I actually appreciate that Apple does not launch its products all year round (like samsung). And now, as the year ends, Apple's new line up makes it a merry and jolly and amazing christmas (yeah i said it...).

Now to what the title states: Just on the first weekend that any new iPhone is launched in any part of the world Millions of people line up and enjoy true technological breakthroughs on a yearly basis. It is True that replaceability is one of the key aspects that makes Apple one of the strongest tech giants there is... But you can also choose to see the glass half full and realise that "replaceability" for Apple is a synonym for Innovation; that is the strength that makes a product like iPhone the base of Apple's economy and the best smartphone.

Like it or not... iPhone is the king of smartphones and now even phablets (might I add I HATE that term?! Who in the world decided that is a good name or terms for a big smart phone?!) it is, and will continue to be, the engine behind Apple's economy and development for the upcoming enormous year (Believe It!). Why is it that basically any new smartphone comparison has most if not all of its features contrasted with the latest iPhone? For the very same reason that the iPhone 6s Plus with 2Gigs of RAM Destroyed Samsung Note 5 with 4Gigs of RAM: it's the best at being the best.

Steve Jobs put it quite well when he stated in 2007 that what was about to be introduced by Apple was a good 5 years ahead of any product in its category. Thanks to that reality all other Tech companies had to push forward to create the loads of competition that stands today around Apple's still technology leading product. You see there is no denying phones like the samsung galaxy s6, the huawei P8, the nexus 6P or even the galaxy note 5 are great; but they are all results of the race that in 2007 begun with the original iPhone bringing new technologies to the smartphone industry.

And so, every year the iPhone number line (4,5,6) worries about redefining the design, the 4 was square, the 5 was taller and the 6 larger and round again; while the S phones (4s,5s,6s) worry about innovating what drives the phone insides, 4s brought Siri, 5s brought 64bit architecture and now the 6s reengineers the entire universe of HOW we use the phone (3D Touch).

Other phones are good, and their companies are great, after all Samsung does make the A9 chip for Apple. But get this one thing straight. The iPhone is and will continue to drive true smartphone industry. It wasn't the first phone, or the first at many characteristics. But really why does it matter if they are the first if they still are the best. After all no other company can manage it's phone category the way Apple does: change yearly the inside or outside, they can't see far enough to quite "out-innovate" Apple.

Coming soon:

this week I got the new iPad Mini 4 and it is AMAZING (unlike the iPad Mini 3 which let us all please forget about it...); and if all goes well this upcoming week i finally catch up with all other Apple freaks and get my well deserved iPhone 6s Plus (first Plus phone since i owned the 6 and not the 6 Plus).
So a couple more entries on those two product reviews and some surprises :)
