I Told You !

The second biggest Q3 earnings EVER! Apple had not lost its pacing and this is just another proof of it. 45 billion dollars tell us a lot, but tell me I was super right about 3 things: iPhone, iPad and Services. In addition to that, China and betting on new developers have a big role in getting Apple to a positive and great future. China promises to have a market that Apple seemingly can never fully conquer, which means the room to grow is huge, and if you know Apple, you know challenges are the best way for it to prove everyone wrong. In terms of developers, Apple has the best app store there is, PERIOD. People pay for their apps because of the culture Apple created and this is a win-win situation where customers get better and early apps for every single category, and on top of that, developers get paid and even have access to the most up to date software in at least 80% of the active devices in the world that Apple has (different to Android where less than 10% is running the latest software).

First, I was SO right about iPad! The identity factor came through as soon as the marketing strategy got renewed. The ideology behind the iPad should have always been a response to the skeptics out there that don't quite understand how the iPad has surpassed the PC world. Battery Life being superior by comparing size and time. Sarcasm as a way to prove that it does the same features a computer does plus the added features of being the best tablet in the market. CPU and GPU power truly are mind blowing if you find the comparisons they're even better than a large amount of computers out there, great computers. Best for last, the Apple Pencil comes to life to remind everyone the impact lag has in the tech age we are living in. I have said this before and will continue to say it forever: the iPad has a much longer upgrade cycle in its life spam, which makes the economic results of this truly amazing and useful product to take time to show, and now they have once more come back to prove that cycle.

Second, the iPhone's 10 year anniversary shows exactly what we thought: leaks, speculation, etc. It is something I do not appreciate much, but I guess people out there want to know what COULD be in the iPhone to come and cannot wait ANY longer. Me? I have patience and trust Apple to do the right thing to honor 10 years of the most sold consumer product in history. The iPhone SE plus the red iPhone 7 plus the rumors seem to have helped the iPhone to not sink in the quarter before its line-up being renewed. I am glad to say, I have thoroughly enjoyed my iPhone 7 Plus; but I am also happy to say all this craziness has made a positive iPhone sales environment for Apple to take advantage and not have any losses before the next launch.

Finally: Services! I told you guys that Apple Music was here to stay and to grow. Making its own shows, providing a great interphase through which to interact with your content, plus the already existing added value of continuity within music. Just as Tim Cook promised (even before he expected) Apple has a new Fortune 100 company in their system just thanks to the continuous growth of the services side of business worldwide.

I cannot wait for the tenth anniversary iPhone to be announced, but until then we can all rest assured Apple is still the awesome company we know and love. From here onwards hopefully success will lure success and we will live in the post-PC and wireless future we were promised a long time ago.
